Great show from John Gros at the Kingpin’s 25 anniversary party. Gros is a New Orleans native and a New Orleans legend. And he's most definitely a New Orleans ambassador. First line of his official bio: “Sharing New Orleans with the world is my calling.” He's awesome in any format but this Kingpin show was a lot of fun, basically a feel-good block party. Very happy I attended.
Great show at the Supernova event on the Greenway. I’ve always wondered if these guys are wandering an area called The Lost Bayou or if they’ve just been wandering a range of bayous and now they’re lost. Either way, Lost Bayou Ramblers is a guaranteed fun show. Want to catch some Cajun tradition mixed with a little bit of everything else from the music world? Check them out. Music’s where it’s at.
